Wow, ummm…
Would it be unmanly of me to admit that hearing Mrs. Blackbourne’s voice makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up?
Scary.
As if I enjoy talking to her little minions. They bounced me around so many times I felt like I was trying to get through to the POTUS himself instead of some mid-level junior partner.
If I didn’t care for her before, this just reaffirms my image of this woman as a shrill, uptight little paper pusher.
Etta, make me an appointment! I need a facial to relax this grimace and a good place to vent.
I bet she’s never read an Updike novel in her life. Probably had her paralegal sum up the cliff notes version for her.
I called Shirls Jackson and she checked the phone bill right there on the phone with me. Tubby called LA 27 times and that’s just Jan 15 – Feb 15. Shirls says Tubby is convinced that his aunt is “Ruby Wood” despite (a) her name is different (b) she has no money to speak of and (c) is still alive, as far as we know!
Missy honey, you just relax, we’re all set for Saturday.
Oh for heaven’s sake, didn’t your mamas ever tell you that if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all?
This woman talks in circles! I can hardly underestand what she’s saying!…the executors of the bequest will be made known in a manner of?…what?
I just want to be sure SOMEONE has got control of this situation. Does anyone feel that they really understand what this Blackbourne woman was saying? I just want to make sure we’re clear.
whoah.

Mrs. Blackbourne sounds like a bad phone actress.
Sounds to me like all is not well at Gibbon Soccoro!
